I am a children's illustrator specializing in the strange, colorful, and ecological wonders of our world. I am the illustrator of Adventures of Coco Mia: Lost, and Home Again: a Restoration Story.
I was born in Madison, Wisconsin and promptly whisked away to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where I spent the first 7 years of my life stuffing my little baby overalls with rocks, acorns, and dirt from the mountain trails. I later returned to Madison, attending Malcolm Shabazz City High School and took permanent root in the art room (it’s a miracle they ever managed to make me leave). Growing up in a tight knit community of ferociously funny women, tyrannical little dogs, and academic hippies gave me a deep curiosity for the world around me. I love to illustrate the natural things we take for granted, like unripe apricots and dandelion fluff.
When I’m not drawing I can be found practicing my juggling, baking, or re-reading my favorite Sci-fi.  I am currently located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I attend the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design as a senior majoring in Illustration.
